The Internet Is Trying To Make An All-Black Hocus Pocus Reboot Happen And It’s Kinda Fly

There isn’t a single Halloween movie I love more than Hocus Pocus. Nearly every Halloween as a kid my mom would bribe me out of taking me trick-or-treating by buying me a barbie, some candy, and renting Hocus Pocus. I still watch the movie to this day. And apparently so do plenty of Black girls.

One of them, in fact, came up with a genius way to bring back the ’90s classic in this age of remakes and reboots and, of course, her idea is to do it with an all-Black cast.

So who would play the Sanderson sisters you ask? Look no further than the image below.

As you can see from the tweet, the casting didn’t stop there. Sis also suggested studios bring on Chance the Rapper to play Max, Quvenzhané Wallis as lil sis and Zendaya as Allison. And she threw Kendrick Lamar in the mix for the role of Thackery Binx.
