Leslie Jones announced as host of 2017 BET Awards

Leslie Jones, of Saturday Night Live fame, will be hosting this year’s BET Awards.

“I am so excited to be hosting The BET Awards this year,” Jones said of the opportunity. “BET was the first network and place where I was on TV — I am looking to turn this whole experience into a joyful homecoming.”

This is the first major award show gig for Jones, who will join the likes of Chris Rock, Mo’Nique and others who have hosted the BET Awards in its 17-year…
