Michelle Obama gave one little girl’s third grade project an A+
Growing up, most of us had the one school project that required us to dress up as one of our heroes.
Twitter user Audrey Dow (@ADCollegeOpp) shared a picture of her 9-year-old daughter dressed as her hero former First Lady Michelle Obama for a school project. Dow says her daughter was inspired by the former First Lady’s commitment to helping students go to college, and that she sees herself in her hero.
Today my 9 year old was @MichelleObama for her 3rd grade Open House project. She was inspired by her work to make sure more kids go to college & #ReachHigher . She loves that Mrs Obama is brown & has hair like hers #ISawMyself pic.twitter.com/RYmWumAdHM

This tweet on its own is adorable and inspiring, but the story got even better after Obama herself retweeted the photo and gave it her stamp of approval.
This just made my day. I may not be a 3rd grade teacher, but this gets an A+ in my book! https://t.co/wBTzbyG8zr
